Former President of Bayra Md. Abul Bashar (69) passed away today (18/02/2026). Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. He was undergoing treatment at the United Hospital in the capital. At the time of his death, he is survived by 1 son, 2 daughters, wife, relatives and numerous admirers. He served as the President of Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (Bayra) for a total of 6 years in 3 terms and served as the Chairman of his renowned business organization Sarkar Recruiting Agency Ltd. Today (18/02/2026) after Asr at Gulshan Central Mosque and after Isha at his home in Feni, a press release said.
