A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Pubali Bank PLC, one of the leading banks of the country, and ACI Logistics Limited (Shwapno), a leading retail chain. Through this strategic partnership, both organizations will jointly work on customer service enhancement, marketing innovation, CRM integration and co-branded campaign initiatives, a press release said.
The ceremony was attended by Mohammad Ali, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Pubali Bank PLC, as Chief Guest. Sabbir Hasan Nasir, Managing Director of ACI Logistics Limited, was present as Guest of Honour. Special Guests included Md. Shahnewaz Khan, Deputy Managing Director of the bank, and Abu Hasan Zaman, Director (Treasury, Finance & Planning) of ACI PLC.
Also present were A.K.M. Abdur Rakib, General Manager & Head of Dhaka North Region of Pubali Bank PLC; Md. Shahin Shahria, General Manager of Mohakhali Corporate Branch; Md. Rabiul Alam, Deputy General Manager & Head of Alternative Delivery Channel Division; Nigar Sultana, Deputy General Manager of Dhanmondi Branch; Md. Moniruzzaman, Deputy General Manager of Gulshan Circle-1 Corporate Branch; Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Assistant General Manager, along with senior executives, customers and well-wishers from both organizations.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Ali, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Pubali Bank PLC, said that the MoU would open a new horizon of long-term cooperation between the two institutions. He noted that by enhancing customer service and providing innovative banking facilities, both organizations would be able to build a strong value chain together. He further added that through marketing innovation, improved CRM integration and co-branded initiatives, more modern services could be ensured for customers. The collaboration between the banking and retail sectors will make everyday transactions easier and more cost-effective through digital payments, loyalty benefits and special offers, while also creating new opportunities for the employees of both organizations.
