Cybersecurity risks are escalating in 2026 due to growing cyber threats, rapid digital transformation and geopolitical fragmentation affecting trust. Kaspersky detected about 500,000 malicious files daily in 2025, a 7% increase. Password stealers rose 59%, spyware 51% and backdoors 6%, while APAC saw a 132% surge in password stealers and 32% increase in spyware.
