Nurul Islam breathed his last on Friday, April 2, 2021, while undergoing treatment at the Mother and Child General Hospital in Chittagong city. During his lifetime, he was closely involved in various educational institutions and social activities. Nurul Islam made a unique contribution to building an enlightened society. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, and 3 daughters.
Nurul Islam is the father of journalist Mizanul Islam and former APP advocate Mohiul Islam.
