17th National Mental Arithmetic Competition 2026 by Aloha

Aloha Bangladesh organized the 18th National Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition 2026 on April 03rd and 04th, 2026 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital. In this two-day competition, more than 3400 students from 600 schools across the country participated, who were involved in this course in various branches of Aloha Bangladesh. Aloha Bangladesh has been organizing this competition in Bangladesh since 2008, a press release said.

The objective of this competition was to test the speed and accuracy of the children. Within 5 minutes duration of time, the participants have been asked to solve 70 complex sums and majority of the students solved 70 complex problems with 100 % accuracy within the due time.

First day the program was started by the National anthem of Bangladesh. Loh Mun Sung, Founder of Aloha Mental Arithmetic inaugurated this event. After wishing speech the children participate the 5 minutes exam in four different batches.

On the second day competition prize was distributed. The chief guest of this event Loh Mun Sung, Founder of ALOHA Mental Arithmetic and special guest Kiran Matwani, International Director of ALOHA; DR. ABDELOUAHAB SAIDANI, Ambassador Embassy of Algeria in Bangladesh; Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil Group; and Anpheakdey Ouch and Kimhai Heoun from ALOHA Combodia handed over award to the winners.

Md. Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA, Managing Director of ALOHA Bangladesh giving welcome speech at the ceremony, while Saiful Karim, Chairman of ALOHA Bangladesh lead the program as session chairman and Shamsuddin Tipu, Director, Aloha Bangladesh was also present as this moment.

Managing Director of Aloha Bangladesh in the welcome speech said, “we are working to shaping the future Bangladesh, starting from the cognitive knowledge development and make our student future leader.”

International Director of Aloha Mental Arithmetic Kiran Matwani said, “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents of the children who participated in the 18th National Mental Arithmetic Competition organized by Aloha Bangladesh. Today’s victory belongs not only to the children, but also to the parents who are diligently shaping their children’s future. By encouraging their participation in this competition, they have made a commendable and thoughtful choice for their development.”

ABDELOUAHAB SAIDANI, Ambassador Embassy of Algeria in Bangladesh said, ‘The importance of this mental arithmetic competition is truly significant. It provides a valuable opportunity for participants to expose their potential, discover new talents, and demonstrate exceptional abilities. Today we witness something remarkable- young participants performing complex addition, multiplication, and division mentally or through abacus techniques with impressive speed and precision.’

After speech, the guests were presented with mementos. After that ALOHA graduate teachers handed over certificated form guest. In cultural session a dance-drama performance will be held by Kadamati. At the end, the results are announced, and the prizes are distributed.

The event healthcare partner Omnicare diagnostic Limited and Event and strategic partner Hashtag Communication Ltd. Meanwhile, the selected winners are going to participate in Aloha International Competition 2026 at Panama.

Since March 2006 Aloha Bangladesh has been operating in Bangladesh. Aloha is an ISO certified leaning system.
