GPH International School celebrates annual sports, cultural program 2026

GPH International School successfully organized its Annual Sports Competition and Cultural Program 2026, culminating in a vibrant prize-giving ceremony held at the Munshiganj Shilpakala Academy. The day-long event brought together students, parents, and distinguished guests in a lively and festive atmosphere, a press reelases said.

Liton Abdullah, Regional Development Manager for Bangladesh and Nepal at Pearson, attended the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Special Guests was Tahnee Yeasmin, Director of Business Development at the British Council Bangladesh. The event was also graced by the Chairman of the School management committee and Chairman of GPH Ispat Ltd., Mohammed Alamgir Kabir and Vice Chairman Kamrun Nahar along with other respected guests.

The program began with the national anthem. This was followed by the creative “Dress as You Like” event, where the young students participated with great enthusiasm. The atmosphere became even more vibrant as the winners were awarded prizes.

The cultural segment added further charm to the event, featuring performances in dance, music, poetry recitation, and magic shows. The students’ energetic and creative presentations were warmly appreciated by the audience.

In his address, the Chief Guest highlighted the importance of balancing academic pursuits with co-curricular activities and encouraged students to develop confidence and leadership skills. Chairman Mohammed Alamgir Kabir commended the students for their achievements and expressed his hope to organize even more extensive programs in the future.

At the outset, the Principal, Brigadier General Khandaker Farhad Hossain (Retd.), welcomed the guests and conveyed his sincere appreciation to teachers, students, and parents for their active participation and support.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving participants with joyful memories and reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education.
