3-day int’l tourism fair begins in Dhaka

The 21st edition of the international tourism fair, Air Astra Dhaka Travel Mart 2026, commenced today at the Ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, a press release said.

The three-day event is organized by The Bangladesh Monitor, a leading travel and tourism publication, with Air Astra as the title sponsor.

M Nasser Rahman MP formally inaugurated the fair, The ceremony was also addressed by Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor of The Bangladesh Monitor, as well as representatives from the event’s sponsors and partner organizations.

More than 50 organizations from Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Vietnam, China, and host Bangladesh are participating in the fair, showcasing their products and services across 10 pavilions and over 80 booths. The participants include national tourism organizations, airlines, travel agencies, hotels and resorts, tour operators, financial institutions, medical service providers, and other stakeholders in the travel and tourism industry.

Visitors can enjoy attractive discounts on domestic and international air tickets, tour packages, hotel and resort accommodations, medical tourism services, and other travel-related offerings.

The event is further supported by US-Bangla Airlines, Mutual Trust Bank PLC, Sabre Corporation, and Buy Tickets as partner organizations.

The fair is open to visitors daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm until 11 April, with entry tickets priced at Tk 50.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to win exciting prizes through raffle draws using their entry tickets. Prizes include return air tickets to domestic and international destinations, complimentary stays at hotels and resorts both locally and abroad, as well as lunch and dinner vouchers at leading star hotels in the country.
