State minister visits PRAN-RFL industrial park in Narsingdi

The state minister for Ministry of Textiles and Jute Md. Shariful Alam, MP visited an industrial park of the country’s leading conglomerate PRAN-RFL Group. He visited the Ghorashal Industrial Park of PRAN-RFL Group located in Narsingdi on Tuesday, a press release said.

During the visit, Managing Director of PRAN Group Eleash Mridha and Director (Marketing) of PRAN-RFL Group Kamruzzaman Kamal welcomed the state minister at Ghorashal Industrial Park. He visited juice and drinks manufacturing units.

During the visit Md. Shariful Alam highly praised the role of PRAN-RFL Group in contributing the country’s economic development through the production of consumer goods, job creation, and export activities. He said, PRAN-RFL Group is among the leading groups contributing significantly to employment generation and keeping our country’s economy vibrant. The group has brought about a remarkable transformation in consumer goods production both at home and abroad, which truly deserves appreciation. By creating employment for around 170,000 people, the company has set a unique example.

He further added that eliminating unemployment and generating jobs is the key priorities of the current government. In this regard, the government has undertaken comprehensive initiatives to ensure a business-friendly environment and will extend all necessary support to private sector enterprises.

Textiles & Jute Ministry’s Additional Secretary Subrata Sikder, Chairman of Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation Brig. Gen. Md. Kabir Uddin Sikder, Textiles & Jute Ministry’s Joint Secretary Hafsa Begum, Deputy Secretary Saiful Islam Azad, Deputy Secretary Shahadat Hossain Kabir, along with other senior officials were present during the visit.
