North South University (NSU) Department of Management, in collaboration with nextjobz Ltd., successfully organized an engaging and insightful session titled “HR 360° Bootcamp: From Theory to Corporate Reality” on 20 April 2026, a press release said.
The event aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world corporate HR practices, providing students with practical insights into the dynamic field of Human Resource Management.
The session was inaugurated by Dr. Nasar U. Ahmed, Professor and Pro Vice-Chancellor of North South University. The program was further graced by Dr. AKM Waresul Karim, Professor and Dean of the School of Business and Economics (SBE), North South University. The event was hosted by Dr. Ziaul Haq Adnan, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Management.
The keynote session was delivered by Md. Mehanazuddin Rupom, Head of HR & Admin at Amann Bangladesh Ltd., who shared valuable industry perspectives on modern HR practices. Shoeb Hassan, Chief Business Officer of NextJobz Ltd., also joined as Guest Speaker, offering insights into corporate expectations and employability skills. The event was coordinated by Hamida Mosharraf Moniea, Senior Lecturer, Department of Management, North South University.
The bootcamp provided students with a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, practical challenges, and emerging trends, helping them better prepare for corporate careers. The collaboration between academia and industry partners highlighted the importance of experiential learning and professional readiness.
The program concluded with an interactive session, allowing students to engage directly with industry experts and gain clarity on career pathways in HR.
