Premier Bank holds townhall in Comilla, Sylhet to boost deposit, recovery month

As part of the ongoing ‘Deposit and Recovery Month 2026’ of The Premier Bank PLC, town hall meetings were held on Saturday, 25 April, in Comilla and Sylhet, a press release said.

At the Comilla townhall meeting, the bank’s Managing Director, Md. Monzur Mofiz, attended as the Chief Guest. Special guests included SM Wali Ul Morshed, Deputy Managing Director; Mohammad Shamim Murshed, SEVP and Head of Consumer Banking; Mohammad Anwar Hossain, SEVP and Head of Recovery along with all employees of the concern branches also participated in the meeting.

Meanwhile, at the Sylhet townhall meeting, the bank’s Deputy Managing Director Amalendu Roy, attended as the Chief Guest, while SEVP and Head of SME and Agri Banking Asif Khan was present as Special Guest. All employees from the respective branches and sub-branches also took part in the meeting.

In both meetings, participants expressed their commitment to working collectively to further strengthen the bank’s financial foundation and enhance customer confidence through the successful implementation of ‘Deposit and Recovery Month 2026’. Emphasis was also placed on adopting target-based action plans and coordinated efforts to increase deposits and accelerate the bank’s development initiatives.
