The ICT Employees Society of Bangladesh (ICTESB), an organization of ICT professionals, has formed a 27-member central executive committee for a three-year term. On Saturday at 10 am, at the temporary office of the ICT Employees Society of Bangladesh (ICTESB) in Rampura, Dhaka, a new 27-member full-fledged committee was formed in accordance with the rules and regulations-11 of the constitution of the organization, a press release said.
Engineer Elahan Uddin has been appointed as the president of the new committee of ICTESB, and Secretary General SM Moazzem Hossain. Other members of the committee are Senior Vice President – Md. Abu Bakr Siddique, Vice Presidents – Md. Abdus Salam, Mostafizur Rahman Sohag, Tanvir Ahmed and Vice President – Md. Ashiq-al-Aziz, Joint Secretaries – Ashfaqur Rahman, Md. Enamul Hasan and Reshma Alam, Organizing Secretary – S. M. Alauddin Kabir, Treasurer – Ziaur Rahman, Publicity and Publication Secretary – Gazi Asif Mohammad Islam, Office Secretary – Md. Sadiqur Rahman (Sajeeb), Deputy Office Secretary – Mohammad Arifur Rahman (Arif), Education, Training and Research Secretary – Vikramaditya Sana, International Affairs Secretary – Ishrat Jahan, Sports and Literature Secretary – Tanjir Alam, Women and Family Welfare Secretary – Rasheda Akhter Sumi, Cultural Affairs Secretary – Dwip Sarkar, Legal Affairs Secretary – Md. Azizur Rahman, Religious Affairs Secretary – Md. Saiful Islam (Sohel), Disaster and Relief Affairs Secretary – Md. Shahadat Hossain, Health and Social Welfare Affairs Secretary – Md. Sedratul Amin, Executive Members – Maqlub Bhuiyan, Engineers Junaid Ahmed and Md. Moazzem Hossain.
ICT Employee Society of Bangladesh President Eng. Elahan Uddin said, “Through AI automation and proper use of advanced technology, the talent, skills and innovative power of the country’s youth must be advanced to world-class levels. The government must play its role in ensuring modern technology training, research opportunities, job security and a technology-friendly environment for young ICT professionals to build a new Bangladesh.”
Secretary General SM Moazzem Hossain said, “The government and the private sector must work together to create technology-based employment and ensure digital security.”
ICT Employee Society of Bangladesh is an organization registered under the Society Act in RJSC under the Ministry of Commerce in 2019. Its members number more than a thousand.
Regarding this, ICT Employee Society of Bangladesh (ICTESB) is an organization of ICT professionals, which organizes various workshops, training, research, seminars, conferences on ICT for the professional development of its members. In addition, it participates in various national development activities on ICT jointly with the government.
The organization provides free workshops, training, skill development, seminars, and career counseling for all its members. Since 2020, Microsoft Corporation has been a non-profit partner of this organization, which has been providing various resources, software, cloud servers, AI automation, and Azure Credits.
In 2023, on the fourth anniversary of its establishment, 40 members were given Microsoft Office 365 Business Premium Pro software worth about 5 lakh taka as a prize through a lottery in collaboration with Microsoft.
