Three customers from different districts have become millionaires after they had purchased two of Walton refrigerators and one air conditioner under the electronics giant’s nationwide ongoing “Digital Campaign Season-24, a press release said.

The winners are Suprakash Chakma, a retired senior officer of Sonali Bank from Bandarban; Tahmina Akter, a school teacher from Narsingdi; and day-labourer Kuddus Hawlader from Bagerhat. Among them, Suprakash Chakma and Kuddus Hawlader each purchased a refrigerator, while Tahmina Akter bought an air conditioner from their nearest Walton showrooms.

On Wednesday (May 6, 2026) last, a cheque worth of Tk 10 lakh was handed over to Suprakash Chakma at a program held in Bandarban town while Tahmina Akter and Kuddus Hawlader each received Tk 10 lakh worth cheques at separate programmes held in Narsingdi and Fakirhat respectively on May 4 and April 26 this year. The cheques were handed over by Walton’s Senior Executive Director and film actor Amin Khan and Bangladesh National Cricket Team’s fast bowler Taskin Ahmed.

The functions were also attended, among others, by Head of Walton Distributor Network Md. Firoj Alam, Walton AC’s Chief Business Officer Tanvir Rahman and Walton’s Chief Marketing Officer Zoheb Ahmed.

Authorities say, the digital campaign’s new season was launched nationwide ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha festival. 50 customers across the country have already become millionaires after purchasing Walton products under previous seasons.

Suprakash Chakma purchased a 145-litre Walton refrigerator at Tk.28,000 from Walton distributor outlet ‘Eastern Agency’ in Bandarban on April 16 this year. After he had purchased the refrigerator, the digital registration with the bar code of the product, his name and mobile phone number was done. After a while, he received a message on his mobile phone with the notification that he had won Tk 10 lakh under the benefit of Digital Campaign Season-24. Similarly, Tahmina Akter bought a 1.5-ton Walton air conditioner at a price of Tk 66,300 from Walton Plaza Narsingdi branch on April 21 this year. Following the product registration, she also received a Tk 10 lakh winning notification on her mobile phone.

Meanwhile, Kuddus Hawlader purchased a refrigerator worth Tk 42,690 from Fakirhat Walton Plaza by making a down payment of Tk 18,000 under a six-month installment benefit. He too won Tk 10 lakh through the campaign.

Expressing his reaction, Suprakash Chakma said he had bought lottery tickets many times before in his life but never won anything. He added that he never imagined getting such a big reward just buying a refrigerator.

Thanking Walton authorities, Tahmina Akter said winning such a large amount of money after purchasing an air conditioner was an unforgettable moment for her and that the prize money would greatly benefit her family.

Walton Distributor Network’s Head of Sales Firoj Alam said, the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to rewarding customers of locally manufactured products.

Till now, around 50 people became millionaire through purchasing various types of Walton products under the digital campaign, mentioning it he said, the cheaque handover program is the proof that Walton keeps its promises given to its valued customers.

Customers are buying Walton products due to highest standards, he said adding that Walton is being exporting electrical and electronics products to more than 55 countries around the world.
