Hisense Fridge-TV daily for highest remittance receivers via bKash this Eid

DHAKA : Ahead of Eid, the highest remittance receiver to a bKash account will get a Hisense Deep Freezer and the second highest receiver will get a 43-inch Hisense Smart TV, daily.  Additionally, relatives of expatriates who receive over Tk 10,000 in remittance (excluding the 2.5% government incentive) will get a guaranteed Tk 500 discount coupon in this campaign till June 5, 2025. Currently, expatriates can send remittances to their relatives' bKash accounts in Bangladesh as many times as needed from more than 140 countries, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, USA, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Kuwait, Italy, Canada, France, and South Korea, via 110 international MTOs. These remittances are settled via 25 top commercial banks and are instantly deposited into loved ones' bKash accounts, featuring a Tk 25 per thousand as government incentives. Expatriates can send Tk 250,000 remittance per transaction to bKash as per Bangladesh Bank’s regulations. Due to such benefits, sending remittances directly to bKash accounts has quickly gained trust and confidence of expatriates and their relatives.

Meanwhile, expatriates’ relatives can cash out remittances from nearly 2,500 ATM booths of top commercial banks across the country for a charge of only Tk 7 per thousand, using the bKash app or dialling *247#. Besides, cash out has become more affordable as customers can now cash out up to Tk 50,000 from two ‘Priyo Agents’ with a reduced charge of Tk 14.90 per thousand. Apart from cash out, dear ones of the expatriates can make various types of payment, pay utility bills, send money, recharge mobile, pay educational or government fees, give zakat-fitrah, donate etc. with their bKash account from the comfort of home.
