Dhaka : Ahead of Eid, 14 highest remittance receivers through bKash won Hisense Deep Freezers and 43-inch Hisense Smart TVs in the first week of the campaign. These prizes were awarded based on the highest daily remittance received during the 1 st week of the campaign, which will run till June 5, 2025. Meanwhile, relatives of expatriates receiving remittance of Tk 10,000 or more (excluding the 2.5% government incentive) are getting a guaranteed discount coupon of Tk 500, according to a press release.
The prize mementos were handed over to the winners by J M Taslim Kabir, Group Head of Marketing at Fair Group, and Mohammad Zahidul Ahasan, Head of Remittance at bKash, during a ceremony at bKash head office. Senior officials from both organisations were also present at the event.
Notably, a customer can receive the fridge/TV and discount coupon only once during the campaign period. Coupons for all winners, including the daily fridge and TV winners, will be automatically added to their bKash accounts. The coupons can be redeemed by making payments via bKash when purchasing Hisense fridge-TVs from Fair Electronics Smart Plaza outlets nationwide.
