Islami Bank inks agreement with Dhaka College

DHAKA : Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Dhaka College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the collection of all student fees. Under this agreement, Dhaka College students will be able to pay any type of fees including tuition fee and session fee quickly through Islami Bank branches, sub-branches, agent outlets and Cellfin app under corporate services, according to a press release.

In presence of Md. Omar Faruk Khan, managing director (current charge) of the Bank, Professor A K M Elius, Principal of Dhaka College and Md. Mahabubus Sajjad, Head of New Market Branch, Dhaka of the bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on June 22, 2025 at the Teachers’ Lounge of the college. Md.  Mahbub-a-Alam, Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Dhaka Central Zone presided over the program while Md. Maznuzzaman, Executive Vice President of the bank and Parvin Sultana Haider, Vice Principal of Dhaka College along with head of various departments and teachers of the college were present on the occasion.
