BRAC bank conducts careertalk at islamic university of technology

Dhaka : BRAC Bank recently conducted its signature career guidance programme, CAREERtalk, at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) to help students plan their professional journeys.  Held on May 29, 2025, at the IUT Auditorium, the session saw active participation from students eager to gain insights into real-world careers.  From BRAC Bank, the speakers included Akhteruddin Mahmood, Head of Human Resources; Sk. Sunjur Ahmed, Head of Digital Banking; Mir Mohammad Asiful Bari, Head of Systems Support and Service Operations; along with Young Leaders and officials from the Human Resources Division.  The session covered current trends in banking, digital innovation, and the skills needed to thrive in a competitive job market, according to a press release.

Akhteruddin Mahmood said, “CAREERtalk is about sparking ambition. We want students to think ahead, learn continuously, and prepare to lead. Youth engagement is central to progress—and we’re committed to supporting it.” The initiative was well received by students and faculty, reflecting BRAC Bank’s continued commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry through meaningful engagement.
