Department of Journalism and Media and Communication of Daffodil International University ( DIU)organized a two-day training program on Digital Journalism at the university Media Lab for journalists of Chandpur Press Club, a press release said.
Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, Vice-Chancellor of the university, was present as the chief guest at the closing and certificate distribution ceremony of the training as the chief guest on August 3, 2025. The program was addressed by Rahim Badshah, President, Chandpur Press Club, Md. Quader Palash, General Secretary, Chandpur Press Club, Aftab Hossain, Head, Department of Journalism, Media and Communication, Dr. Md. Abdul Kabil Khan, Associate Professor, Department of Journalism, Media and Communication and Md. Anowar Habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director (Public Relations) of Daffodil International University. 30 members of Chadpur Press Club participated in the two-day training. The training covered topics such as What is digital journalism, why and how Basic principles and settings of mobile video recording mobile camera settings, shot types, interviews, B-roll recording.
Earlier, on August 2, the training program was inaugurated by the university Dean of Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamal, and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Liza Sharmin.
