Unilever BD, Unilever Consumer Care give BDT 86.3m to BLWF

Unilever Bangladesh Limited has contributed BDT 81,777,100 and Unilever Consumer Care Limited has contributed BDT 4,498,200 to the Bangladesh Workers Welfare Foundation Fund(BLWF) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, as part of their statutory commitment to the Workers’ Profit Participation Fund (WPPF), a press release said.

The cheques were handed over to Brigadier General Shakhawat Hossain (Retd.), Honorable Adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, and A.H.M. Shafiquzzaman, honorable secretary of the Ministryof Labour and Employment. Ruhul Quddus Khan, director, Supply Chain; Syeda Durdana Kabir, Director, Human Resources; S.O.M. Rashedul Quayum, Legal Director & Company Secretary; and Shamima Akhter, director, Corporate Affairs, Partnerships & Communications of Unilever Bangladesh Limited, along with Mohammad Naharul Islam Molla, managing director, Unilever Consumer Care Limited, handed over the cheques. Senior officials from both organizations were also present at the event.
