Islami Bank holds board meeting

A meeting of the board of directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC was held on August 31, 2025 Sundayat Islami Bank Tower. Professor Dr. M. Zubaidur Rahman, chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting.Mohammad KhurshidWahab, chairman of the executive committee, Md. Abdus Salam, FCA, FCS, chairman of the audit committee, Professor Dr. M. Masud Rahman, chairman of the risk management committee and Md. Abdul Jalil, independent director, Md. Omar Faruk Khan, managing director, Prof. Dr. Mohammad AbdusSamad, member secretary of Shari’ah Supervisory Council and Md. Habibur Rahman, company secretary of the bank, attended the meeting. The meeting adopted unaudited financial statements for the first quarter ended on 31 March 2025 andthe second quarter endedon 30 June 2025 along with other issues, a press release said.
