Grameenphone, the country’s leading telecom operator, has announced the commercial launch of its 5G services in all divisional headquarters in Bangladesh, becoming the first operator to make next-generation connectivity accessible at this scale. The milestone reflects Grameenphone’s continued commitment to driving digital advancement and empowering communities with future-ready technology, a press release said.

Grameenphone CEO Yasir Azman announced the launch through the company’s official Facebook page, marking a historic step in Bangladesh’s journey toward a Smart Nation.
