2 businesses fined for using harmful chemical in foods in Natore

NATORE : The Directorate of National Consumers’ Right Protection (DNCRP) today conducted drives at different business establishments in the districts and fined two business establishments for using banned chemical hydrose (sodium hydrosulfite).

A team of the DNCRP led by Assistant Director Nazmul Hasan conducted drives at various places and fined Bireshwarai restaurant Taka 2,000 and Rakib Store Taka 20,000 for using this harmful chemical in foods.

Members of law enforcement agencies were present during the drives.
