Dutch-Bangla Bank, Berger Paints launch co-branded cards for dealers, painters with Mastercard

Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC and Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited have collaborated with Mastercard to launch a new range of co-branded debit and prepaid cards for Berger dealers and painters across the country, a press release said.

By introducing tailored financial solutions, the launch aims to empower dealers and painters with improved purchasing power, seamless digital payment capabilities, and greater inclusion in the formal financial system.

The co-branded card program is designed to support cardholders in building stronger financial profiles over time, enabling better access to formal banking services, including loans. Both cards provide secure, cashless payment options as well as convenient, fee-free cash withdrawals through Dutch-Bangla Bank’s extensive ATM network. The program brings together convenience, security, and rewards to deliver a holistic financial solution.

The new prepaid card, designed for painters, offers cardholders exclusive privileges through Mastercard’s Priceless Specials platform at over 10,000 outlets nationwide. It also enables discounts of up to 30% on dining and healthcare, up to 35% at electronics merchants, up to 50% on hotels and resorts, up to 10% on air tickets, and up to 60% across selected e-commerce platforms.

For Berger’s dealers, the new debit card delivers exciting benefits, including Buy One Get One dining deals, 10-25% retail discounts, and up to 50% savings on hotels and resorts. Cardholders also benefit from seasonal campaigns during Eid, Ramadan, Durga Puja, and other occasions, along with cashback on contactless payments and selected transactions.

The launch event was graced by Ahteshamul H Khan, Managing Director and CEO, Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC ; Rupali Chowdhury, Managing Director, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited ; Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager, Mastercard; Zakia Sultana, Director, Mastercard, Bangladesh ; Md. Abedur Rahman Sikder, Deputy Managing Director; Abul Kasem Mohammad Sadeque Nawaj, Chief Business Officer and Salahuddin Ahmed Tarek, Chief Marketing Officer, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited along with senior officials from all three organization.
