DHAKA : The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka yesterday hosted a pre-departure reception for a delegation comprising representatives from Grameen Bank and grantees ahead of their visit to China.
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen attended the event on Sunday evening and delivered remarks, expressing his optimism that the visit would further strengthen people-to-people ties and mutual cooperation between China and Bangladesh.
The delegation includes Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of North South University and Chairman of Grameen Bank, along with 15 other members.
