Joint workshop of Legal Aid and Futonta Jubo Sangha in Chattogram

S.M.Arju, Chattogram : At the initiative of Futonta Jubo Sangha a traditional and renowned social organization of the port city an awareness workshop and discussion meeting on government legal aid was organized by Chattogram District Legal Aid to create awareness among the students of Abdul Latif Khan High School in Chattogram Mohra of the city.

Chattogram District Legal Aid Officer and Senior Assistant Judge Rupan Kumar Das was present as the chief guest at the event organized at the school auditorium on Monday 10 February.The special guest was S M Aziz Governor of the Association of Alliances International.Zahidul Karim Kochi, Member Secretary of the Chattogram Press Club and Resident Editor of the Daily Amar Desh,was present as the honorable guest Saiful Islam Shilpi,Organizing Secretary of the Chattogram Metropolitan Journalists Union and Chattogram Bureau Chief of 71 Television, S M Akash, Chattogram Divisional Bureau Chief of The Bangladesh Today and Central Executive Member of the Islamic Foundation,Nur Mohammad Rana,Associate Editor of the Daily Shomoyer Kagoj and Sufi researcher were present as honorable guests.

The function was presided over by Abdul Latif Khan High School Assistant Headmaster S M Mamun.Also present at the function were Ali Hasan,senior teacher of the school,Jasim Uddin Chowdhury, board member of Chattogram Development Authority (CDA),Advocate Saiful Abedin,Additional Public Prosecutor of Chattogram District Judge’s Court, Md.Saddam Hossain,president of Futanto Jubo Sangha,Joint General Secretary Kamrul Hasan Fahim,Finance Secretary Anisul Islam Anas, Publicity Secretary Mohd. Ahmed Asif, executive member Isparul Hasan Tasin, Shahria Sajid, Omar Faruk, Ziauddin, Lincoln Akbar, Azad Hossain, Minhaj Uddin, Irfan Hossain, Arafat Hossain Rabbi, Twinkle Barua, Fahim Anas Asif, Tasin Omar, Ziaur Rahman, Touhidur Islam Azad and Sajid Emon,among others.
