BARISHAL : Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin today exchanged views with election officials of all levels of Barishal region ahead of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) elections.
The meeting was begun at 10:00am at the hall room of the Regional Election Office here.
Regional Election Officers, Senior District Election Officers, Additional District Election Officers, and Upazila and Thana Election Officers of Barishal region were present at the meeting.
Regional Election Officer Md Faridul Islam presided over the meeting.
In the afternoon, the CEC is scheduled to hold another view-exchange meeting with divisional and police administrations as well as members of law enforcement agencies at the Circuit House conference room in Barishal city on preparation for the upcoming JS elections.
Following the meeting, he is expected to speak to journalists.
