Fire breaks out at Dhaka airport’s cargo section; 20 units battling blaze

A fire broke out at the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday.

The fire broke out at the cargo village of gate No 8 of the airport around 2:30 pm, said Talha Bin Jashim, an official of the Fire Service and Civil Defense (Media cell).

On information, 20 firefighting units have reached the spot to bring the blaze under control.

Twelve other firefighting units are on the way to the spot.
