RAJSHAHI : Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul today visited the Mohila Karigori Proshikkhan Kendra (Women Technical Training Centre) here in the district to observe its teaching, learning and other academic activities.
During the visit, Dr. Nazrul toured various academic sections and programs of the centre and exchanged views with students and teachers.
Expressing satisfaction with the centre’s activities, he praised the dedication of the teachers, students and staff. “I’m very much delighted to see the sincerity and honesty,” he said.
Principal of the centre, Shafiqul Islam, briefed the adviser on its initiatives aimed at empowering women through skill development and vocational training.
He said the institution is preparing students for both national and international job markets by providing competency-based education and contributing to the development of standards, curricula and training resources.
He added the centre focuses on developing skilled manpower, facilitating job placements through activities such as job fairs and ensuring that training programmes meet the needs of both learners and employers.
