JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan is proud to announce the installation of the second deep tube well under Aqua Rise, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve access to clean drinking water in Botlagari, Saidpur, Nilphamari, a press release said.
JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan, through its ongoing community development initiative Aqua Rise, has successfully installed a second deep tube well in Botlagari, Saidpur, Nilphamari. This new well provides reliable access to safe drinking water for over 200–300 families, including students of a local school and a madrasa, and extends the benefits to areas neighboring the first installation. The project has been executed in collaboration with Sidrah Foundation. The initiative is part of a long-term strategy to address the water crisis in Botlagari, with plans to gradually install additional deep tube wells in surrounding areas. By doing so, JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan aims to ensure that more families gain uninterrupted access to clean water, improving community health, hygiene, and overall quality of life. “Access to clean water is a fundamental human right and a key factor in breaking the cycle of poverty,” said Khondker Nasif Akhter, 2025 Local President of JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan. “Through Aqua Rise, we are not just providing a well, we are creating a sustainable resource that will empower families, protect children’s health, and support education by reducing waterborne illnesses.” Aqua Rise reflects JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan’s commitment to long-lasting community impact, demonstrating how targeted interventions can transform lives and contribute to sustainable development in rural areas.
