Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Manch and a July uprising activist who was injured in a shooting, is being flown to Singapore for advanced medical treatment.
He was taken out of Evercare Hospital at around 1:15 pm on Monday (December 15) and transported to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, hospital sources said.
An air ambulance sent from Singapore arrived at the airport at 11:22 am to carry Hadi abroad. He was scheduled to depart Dhaka for Singapore at 1:30 pm.
Osman Hadi, who is also a prospective candidate for the Dhaka-8 parliamentary constituency, has been receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in critical condition since he was shot in the Paltan area of the capital on Friday afternoon.
