Pubali Bank PLC, one of the leading private commercial banks in Bangladesh, has inaugurated its “Cashless Banking Campaign” booths at Shimanto Shambhar and Shimanto Square in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, with the aim of making digital transactions more convenient, secure, and modern for customers, a press release said.
Through this campaign, customers are being directly engaged and made aware of the benefits of digital payments, card usage, and Bangla QR services, further strengthening the adoption of cashless banking solutions.
The campaign was formally inaugurated by Mohammad Ali, Managing Director & CEO of Pubali Bank PLC, as the Chief Guest. Md. Shahnewaz Khan, Deputy Managing Director, attended the program as Special Guest. The event was presided over by A.K.M. Abdur Rakib, General Manager & Regional Head of Dhaka North Region. Also present at the event were Mohammad Liton Miah, FCA, General Manager & Chief Financial Officer; Md. Rabiul Alam, Deputy General Manager & Head of Alternative Delivery Channel Division; Ms. Nigar Sultana, Deputy General Manager & Manager, Dhanmondi Branch; Md. Hafizur Rahman Sardar, Deputy General Manager & Manager, Sonargaon Janapad Branch; Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Assistant General Manager, along with other senior executives of the Bank, local business leaders, customers, and well-wishers.

It may be noted that the primary objective of this campaign is to reduce reliance on cash and accelerate the adoption of secure, fast, and transparent digital banking systems. At the campaign booths, customers are receiving hands-on guidance regarding the Bank’s debit and credit cards, POS machines, mobile app-based transactions, and instant payment facilities through Bangla QR code.
