“Share A Meal; Iftar for All” and the “Ramadan Bazaar” are being undertaken by Coca-Cola Bangladesh Limited as part of its Ramadan community initiatives, combining humanitarian support with festive consumer engagement during the holy month, where consumer participation also helps extend iftar support to more people in need, a press release said.
The “Share A Meal; Iftar for All” initiative has been running since 8 March and will continue until 17 March at Mirpur 12 in collaboration with OBHIZATRIK Foundation. Through this programme, nutritious iftar meals are being prepared and distributed via OBHIZATRIK’s community kitchen to underprivileged individuals, helping address food insecurity while ensuring dignified access to meals during Ramadan.
Complementing this effort, the Ramadan Bazaar has already commenced in Dhaka from 8 March at Chef’s Table outlets, creating vibrant festive hubs for families and shoppers throughout the holy month. The bazaar has already expanded to Ananda Mohan College Field in Mymensingh from 12 March and to Narayanganj Club in Narayanganj from 13 March, and will continue until the end of Ramadan, offering visitors a lively marketplace experience that celebrates togetherness. Purchases of every 1 liter Coca-Cola at the Ramadan Bazaar are supporting the continuation of the ‘Iftar for All’ meal distribution programme, enabling more underprivileged individuals to receive meals during the holy month. In Ramadan Bazaar Visitors can explore a diverse range of stalls featuring food, mehedi artistry, online boutique products, handicrafts, cosmetics, casual ornaments, terrariums, and pet foods, bringing convenience, culture, and celebration together under one roof.
