Dr. Tazrian Khurshid has joined the Internal Medicine Department of Evercare Hospital Chattogram, one of the most advanced and largest hospitals in the port city, as an Attending Consultant. Her appointment is expected to further strengthen the hospital’s specialized and advanced medical services across Chattogram and the southeastern region of the country, a press release said.
Dr. Tazrian Khurshid is a renowned Internal Medicine specialist with over a decade of clinical and academic experience. She completed her MBBS from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and later earned her FCPS in Medicine from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). She also completed a Certificate Course in Diabetology (CCD) from BIRDEM, gaining specialized expertise in diabetes care.
Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of areas. In addition to specialized training in neurology, cardiology and nephrology, she is highly skilled in managing non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus and hypertension. She also has extensive experience in treating acute infections, respiratory distress, poisoning, snakebite complications, geriatric conditions, cardiovascular diseases and complex multi-system disorders.
Dr. Tazrian is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, enabling her to provide immediate and effective care in critical and emergency situations. Her experience in emergency and trauma care has further strengthened her ability to manage critically ill patients.
Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively engaged in research and academic activities. Several of her research papers have been published in recognized peer-reviewed journals. In 2025, her original research on the clinical and epidemiological aspects of green pit viper snakebites was published in the Journal of Medicine. She regularly participates in clinical audits, seminars and academic programs.
Dr. Tazrian Khurshid is a life member of the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS), a member of the American College of Physicians and a life member of the Bangladesh Society of Medicine.
With her addition, the Internal Medicine Department of Evercare Hospital Chattogram is expected to deliver more advanced, modern and patient-centric healthcare services.
