Walton holds global distributor meet 2026 in Nepal

Tech giant Walton’s ‘Global Distributor Meet-2026’ was held in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. More than 250 distributors or business partners of Walton from Nepal and Bangladesh participated in the meet, a press release said.

Walton authorities and business partners participating in the conference expressed their determination to move forward with the goal of exporting Walton products to more than a hundred countries of the world.

On Wednesday last (April 29, 2026), Walton Global Distributor Meet-2026 was organized at a five-star hotel in Kathmandu. Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal Md. Shafiqur Rahman was present as the chief guest.

In addition, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Managing Director S M Mahbubul Alam joined the event virtually. Addressing the Walton’s business partners, he said, “Today, we are moving forward globally as a result of your tireless efforts and love for Walton. Walton has established its presence in over 55 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. This expanding global footprint reflects the universal appeal of our products and our strong ability to meet the diverse needs of customers worldwide. We are rapidly progressing toward reaching 100 countries with our products worldwide.”

The event was also attended, among others, by Walton Distributor in Nepal Thapa Business Group’s Managing Director Pranil Thapa, Director Pranimesh Thapa and General Manager Surendra Pokharel, Walton Hi-Tech’s Vice-chairman’s Business Coordinator Shahjalal Hossain Limon, Chief Marketing Officer Zoheb Ahmed, Head of Distributor Network Md. Firoj Alam, Walton Fridge Chief Business Officer Md. Tahasinul Haque.

At the event, Bangladesh Ambassador Shafiqur Rahman unveiled 18 new models of Walton refrigerators. The new models include a 165-liter single-door refrigerator specially designed for the Nepalese market.
