A fire broke out in a seven-storey building in Dhakas’s Hazaribagh on Friday.
The blaze started on the fifth floor, in a leather warehouse, at approximately 2:14pm, said Shahjahan Sikder, deputy assistant director of the fire service.
Six firefighting units are currently trying to bring the fire under control, he said.
Four additional fire units are being dispatched to provide further assistance, he added,
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and no casualties have been reported so far, the fire official said.
