IPDC honors women entrepreneurs and promotes digital inclusion

Dhaka : IPDC Finance PLC., in collaboration with Bangladesh Bank, proudly hosted the Women Entrepreneur Incentive Program 2025, celebrating exceptional women entrepreneurs from across Bangladesh for their resilience, timely loan repayments, and entrepreneurial excellence in the CMSME sector, according to a press release.

This year’s awardees hailed from diverse regions including Dhaka, Jessore, Bogura, Barishal, Sylhet, Faridpur, Rangpur, Chattogram, and Mymensingh. Each was selected based on entrepreneurial merit, business consistency, financial discipline, and positive impact within their communities. Alongside recognition, each recipient received a financial incentive to further strengthen and expand their business ventures.

The Women Entrepreneur Incentive Program 2025 marks a significant milestone in IPDC’s continued efforts to empower women-led enterprises across Bangladesh. By combining financial support with meaningful capacity-building efforts such as training on digital money management; IPDC reaffirms its commitment to fostering women’s participation in the national economy. The initiative reflects the organization’s vision of building a more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem where women can thrive, lead, and inspire.

As part of the program, a capacity-building training session titled “From Cash to Cashless: Digital Money Management” was held, featuring practical guidance on digital financial tools, mobile payment systems, and sustainable business practices. The session welcomed both the awardees and aspiring women entrepreneurs from various sectors, providing a unique platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and strengthening financial literacy.

Lutfor Nahar, owner of M/S Oishi Store and one of the awardees, shared her thoughts, “This incentive is more than just a financial reward it’s recognition of our journey and struggles. It encourages me to dream bigger and expand my store with renewed confidence. I truly thank IPDC Finance PLC. and Bangladesh Bank for this incredible support.”
