Mastercard, Mutual Trust Bank PLC, and Pathao Pay launched real-time companion Prepaid Cards for Youth

Dhaka : Mastercard, in collaboration with Mutual Trust Bank PLC and Pathao Pay, a leading fintech in Bangladesh, announced the launch of a range of youth-centric real time companion prepaid cards, offering a personalized and superior payment experience. The new cards offer seamless access to Pathao Pay without needing a traditional bank account, exclusive offers through Mastercard, versatile usage for online and offline purchases, easy one-touch payments via NFC, convenient ATM withdrawals, and real-time transaction balance mirroring, according to a press release.

Staying true to Pathao’s mission of ensuring financial flexibility and user-centric services, the new cards will allow Mastercard cardholders to enjoy a highly secure and seamless payment experience both in Bangladesh and around the world.

Coming in three exciting designs — Starlit Horizon, Purple Haze, and Sunshine Beach — the cards will also enable Mastercard cardholders to withdraw cash from ATMs across the country. Available in both physical and virtual forms, the cards will provide Mastercard cardholders the freedom to better manage their finances.
