Asia-Pacific faculty development program 2025 kicks off at Daffodil international university

DHAKA : 3-day Asia-Pacific faculty development program (APFDP) 2025 began at international conference hall of Daffodil international university. This landmark initiative is being organized by Human resource development institute (HRDI) and international affairs of Daffodil international iuniversity (DIU) in collaboration with association of the universities of Asia and the pacific (AUAP) from 24th July to 26th July 2025, according to a press release.

This year’s APFDP brings together educators and experts from 10 countries (Bangladesh, Philippines, Nepal, Pakistan, Turkey, USA, Japan, Sweden, Poland and India) across the region to explore innovative teaching, digital transformation, and the future of higher education on the theme Shaping the Future of Higher Education.” The number of courses Prof. Dr. Kabir, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University inaugurated the program as the chief guest. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University and virtually joined the program.  The function was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mustafa, Professor of Biology, Department of Biological Sciences, Purdue University Fort Wayne, USA, Prof. Dr. Farid Ahamamd Sobhani, Vice Chancellor, Eastern University, Prof. Dr.  Gias U. Ahsan, Adviser, Strategy and Innovation, Daffodil International University, Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director, International Affairs and Prof. Dr.  Md. Rokibul Kabir, Director, HRDI of Daffodil International University.
