Fatullah Pilot High School organized a grand ceremony to honor its meritorious students and distribute prizes for the annual sports competition.
The event was held on Tuesday, October 22, at 3:00 PM on the school grounds.
The ceremony was presided over by Taslima Shirin, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Narayanganj Sadar and President of the school’s managing committee. The program began with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the scouts’ and girls’ guides’ salute and an impressive march past. The citation letter was read by Meghla Rani Lod.
Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner Zahidul Islam Miah, who attended as the chief guest, said,
“I would like to urge all parents to focus not only on their children’s academic success but also on shaping them into good human beings. Education should teach students to work for the welfare of people, take responsibility for their country, and grow with a sense of humanity.”
Nilufar Yasmin, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ICT & Education) of Narayanganj, was present as a special guest.
The event was conducted by Sharmin Sultana Sathi, Senior Teacher of the school.
Among others, Acting Head Teacher Afroza Palin delivered her speech, while Senior Teacher Abu Sayeed Munna led the overall management of the event with the cooperation of other teachers.
Students, teachers, parents, journalists, and distinguished local guests attended the ceremony.
At the end of the program, Deputy Commissioner Zahidul Islam Miah distributed sports materials among the students.
