On Sunday (May 3) night, the police of Nalchiti Police Station of Jhalakati district arrested the accused, who was the subject of a warrant in a check fraud case filed in Jhalakati, from the Dhanmondi area of the capital. A team led by ASI Md. Jasim Uddin of Nalchiti Police Station conducted a raid based on secret information and arrested him. The arrested accused had been in hiding for a long time to avoid punishment. Later, the police confirmed his location with the help of information technology and arrested him. The accused was handed over to the concerned court today (Monday) May 4 after completing the necessary legal process.
