The RAB has arrested Tipu (32), a fugitive accused in the controversial Kausar Zaman Bablu murder case of Raozan police station in Chittagong. The arrest was announced in a notification sent by RAB-7 on Monday (May 4).
Earlier, he was arrested from the Nimsar Bazar area of Burichang police station in Comilla on Sunday (May 3) evening.
RAB-7 said that based on secret information, it was learned that Tipu, the accused in the murder case, is staying in the Burichang area of Comilla. Later, a joint operation team of RAB-7, Chittagong and RAB-11, Narayanganj conducted a drive there and arrested him.
The arrested Tipu is a resident of Rahmatpara area of Raozan upazila. He has been made an accused in a murder case (Section 302/34) filed against him at Raozan Police Station.
RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media) ARM Mozaffar Hossain said that the arrested accused has been handed over to Raozan Police Station for further legal action.
