Thermocol begins journey as cultural organization at JU

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY : A new cultural organization named Thermocol has officially launched at Jahangirnagar University (JU), aiming to promote the practice and appreciation of film and visual storytelling among students.

The announcement came at a press conference held Wednesday night at the JU Journalists’ Association office. Ashwarya Bagchi, a student of the Drama and Dramatics Department and the organization’s spokesperson, shared details of the initiative.

Nabil Mostafa and Ashwarya Bagchi, both from the Drama and Dramatics Department, have been made as convener and spokesperson respectively.

The executive board includes Manzur Al Hasan, Sultan Mahmud Raz, Maruf Hossain, Abida Akter Tisha, and Nazmus Sakib. The counselor board comprises Raeid Hosen, Tasfiya Rashid, and Khondokar Iftekhar Ahmed.

The advisory board consisting Professor Dr Mohammad Tarikul Islam (Government and Politics), Associate Professor Dr Md Mizanur Rahman (Archaeology), and Associate Professor Ameena Islam (Journalism and Media Studies) will guide the organization.
