DHAKA : Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan participated in a symbolic marathon organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Friday morning commemorating the July-August mass uprising day.
The marathon started from the old trade fair ground in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar here. People from different ages participated in the marathon spontaneously.
The participation of Asif Mahmud in the marathon was confirmed by his verified Facebook page.
A Facebook post stated that Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain participated in the symbolic marathon along with other participants.
The young participants welcomed the initiative and expressed their hope that such events would be arranged in the future too.
The marathon was completed peacefully and enthusiasm was apparent among the participants.
